**Around 15,000 people visited the exhibition on the second day of the seminar based on Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s speeches on Integral Humanism*

“Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was a ‘Three-in-One’ personality — a thinker, a leader, and an organizer,” — *Jagat Prakash Nadda*

New Delhi, June 1 :

Sixty years ago in Mumbai, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya introduced the philosophy of Integral Humanism. To carry this ideology forward, an excellent seminar and exhibition were organized by institutions such as the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation and PPRC, by transforming the NDMC Convention Centre into Deendayal Gram. This event concluded today.

BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda delivered a remarkable address in the final session of the seminar, highlighting lesser-known aspects of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s life in the presence of senior thinker Shri S. Gurumurthy.

The two-day seminar, which began with the inaugural address by RSS Joint General Secretary Shri Arun Kumar, saw participation from over 550 registered intellectuals from across the country.

In addition to the inaugural and valedictory sessions, a total of 8 sessions were conducted during the seminar.

At the closing session, prominent attendees included BJP’s National General Secretary (Organization) Shri B.L. Santosh, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva BJP’s National Coordinator Shri V. Satish National Secretaries Dr. Alka Gurjar and Shri Omprakash Dhankhad, BJP’s Co-Treasurer Shri Naresh Bansal, Delhi Assembly Speaker Shri Vijender Gupta, Member of Parliament Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Delhi Government Ministers Shri Parvesh Sahib Singh and Shri Ravindra Indraj,  BJP’s National Media Co-Head Shri Sanjay Mayukh and Delhi BJP office bearers, spokespersons and MLAs.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda visited the exhibition organized on this occasion and addressed the closing session in the presence of senior thinker Shri S. Gurumurthy and Shri Mahesh Chandra Sharma.

Today’s seminar was moderated by PPRC Director Shri Sumit Bhasin, in the presence of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation President Shri Anirban Ganguly. Before the final session, Shri Binay Kumar Singh presented a review of the two-day event.

During the two-day seminar, eight books were unveiled, with significant contribution from Prabhat Prakashan.

On the second and final day, Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former Tamil Nadu BJP President Shri K. Annamalai, senior thinker Shri Abhinav Prakash, and Dr. Guru Prakash Paswan delivered powerful speeches in various sessions, giving new dimensions to the discourse on Integral Humanism by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, in the presence of Shri Nitin Gokhale, Dr. Gajanan Dange, Mrs. Mamta Yadav, and Shri J. Nandakumar.

The exhibition at Deendayal Gram remained a major attraction, and today it was visited by nearly 15,000 people from Delhi, including many volunteers from the Sangh Parivar.

Seminar organizer Shri Vishnu Mittal and exhibition coordinator Shri Rajeev Babbar gave a special tour of the exhibition to Delhi journalists in the afternoon, highlighting features such as the use of 3D technology. They discussed elements like the use of anamorphic displays and other innovative techniques.

Shri Rajeev Babbar explained that a digital interaction panel had been installed, and for the first time, a sliding LED display was introduced, showcasing Indian culture. A digital globe was also featured, which presents information on India’s foreign policy through a 360-degree interactive experience. In addition, selfie points were set up, where thousands of visitors have already taken pictures. There was also a book collection on display, offering detailed insights into various aspects of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s life.

In his concluding address, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya was a “Three-in-One” personality — a thinker, a leader, and an organizer. That is why the revered Guruji used to say, “If I can find four people like Deendayal, I can bring transformation in the country.”

We are aware that in a very short span of time, he established Bharatiya Jana Sangh as a national party. Though he left us early, the party adopted his ideology, and today, that very ideology has become our identity.

Shri Nadda said that in order to develop an ideology, India must give primacy to Indian thought, and that is what Deendayalji did under the banner of Integral Humanism. The seminar became a medium to revisit the ideology he presented 60 years ago, but we should not stop here — we must take this philosophy further. Deendayal Upadhyaya dedicated limited time to himself, but a great deal of time to the party, sowing the seeds of its ideological foundation.

Our tradition is over a thousand years old, and hence, its political, social, and economic significance is vast. We must redefine our thinking from an economic perspective as well.

His core ideas, if discussed back then, may have seemed impractical — but today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we are building and setting every parameter based on Indian standards, which is a matter of pride.

He emphasized self-reliance (Swadeshi) and the reconstruction of economic values, and today, we are moving strongly toward Atmanirbharta (self-dependence).

India has become the fourth-largest economy in the world. In electronic gadgets, we have reached ₹70,000 crore in exports. Ten years ago, India imported 92% of its mobile phones, but today, 97% of mobile phones are made in India. In the toy and automobile industry, we now stand third globally.

Shri Nadda said that we recently witnessed success in Operation Sindoor-raksha. Our defense production has reached ₹1.3 lakh crore, and we are rapidly becoming self-reliant in every sector.

The BJP National President also stated that those who once claimed to be champions of economic models have failed globally.

In the truest sense, no one has shown greater concern for society than Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, who always prioritized the last person in the line. Following his principles, the Modi government, through the motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas” (Everyone’s support, everyone’s development, everyone’s efforts), has worked for the welfare of the poor.

We talk about the poor, but it is the Modi government that has truly cared. By providing 5 kg of wheat, 5 kg of rice, and 1 kg of pulses to 80 crore citizens, 25 crore people have risen above the BPL (Below Poverty Line).

A transformational change in women’s lives has come through the distribution of over 10 crore LPG cylinders by the Modi government.

Under the PM Awas Yojana, 4 crore permanent houses have been built, and 3 crore more will be built by 2029, with 75% ownership given to women.

12 crore women have been given proper sanitation facilities (izzat ghar) — inspired by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s vision.

Many claim to be farmer leaders, but only the Modi government has truly worked for farmers.
