The truth is in the fact that our savings have reduced, the household savings hare reduced. The truth is in the fact that the growth rate is no way near what it was during Manmohan Singh Ji's time. In fact, if you look carefully and you listen to the Prime Minister's speeches and to the speeches of other politicians in the BJP, you will find that the truth is reflected in the fact that they will not speak about your problems, they will not speak about development, they will not speak about real issues. Every single day, they pull out some new issue, which is unrelated to your life, which is unrelated to your progress, which is unrelated to rising prices, rising unemployment and they make the whole media talk about those irrelevant issues and try to make the election about them as well.

The truth is that in the last ten years, they have done all they could to destroy every institution that protects the rights of the public in this country.  Anybody who fights for you, anybody who speaks out against them, anybody who speaks out for you, is harassed, intimidated and brought to their knees. It is the Constitution, which protects your rights, it is the constitution that sees each one of you as equal, it is the constitution that gives you your right to vote, your right to reservations and every right that makes you strong and their leaders are slowly talking about the fact that if you give them another majority in this election, they are going to change the Constitution.

* राहुल गांधी ने कहा कि पिछले दस साल नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने 22-25 लोगों के लिए सब कुछ किया है। हालात ये हैं कि आज हिंदुस्तान में 22 ऐेसे लोग हैं, जिनके पास उतना ही धन है, जितना हिंदुस्तान के 70 करोड़ लोगों के हाथों में है। एक तरफ 22 लोग, एक तरफ 70 करोड़ लोग। जितना धन इनके पास, उतना ही धन उनके पास। ये नरेंद्र मोदी जी की देन है। नोटबंदी 22 लोगों के लिए की, कृषि बिल 22 लोगों के लिए लाए, जीएसटी 22 लोगों के लिए किया, 16 लाख करोड़ रुपए नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने 25-30 लोगों का कर्जा माफ किया है। मैं आज आपसे पूछना चाहता हूं, हिंदुस्तान के किसानों का, मजदूरों का, पिछड़ों का, दलितों का, स्टूडेंट्स का नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने कितना कर्जा माफ किया (जनसभा ने कहा - नहीं किया)। एक रुपया हिंदुस्तान के गरीबों का नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने माफ नहीं किया। 16 लाख करोड़ रुपए का मतलब, 25 साल का मनरेगा, 16 लाख करोड़ का मतलब, जितना हमने किसानों का कर्जा माफ किया था, अगर आप उसे 25 बार करो, तो 16 लाख करोड़ रुपए बनते हैं। नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने 22-25 लोगों को 25 साल का मनरेगा का पैसा पकड़ा दिया और फिर कहते हैं कि गरीबों की सरकार चलाते हैं। उन्होंने 22 अरबपतियों की मदद की, तो आज मैं आपको साफ बताने आया हूं, हमारा जवाब क्या है, मैं आज बताने आया हूं।

उन्होंने अरबपति तैयार किए, हम करोड़ों लखपति बनाने जा रहे हैं। अब आप कहोगे राहुल जी, इंडिया की सरकार, कांग्रेस पार्टी की सरकार करोड़ों लखपति कैसे बनाएगी। ये आज मैं आपको बताने आया हूं। हमारा मेनिफेस्टो पढ़िए, सबसे पहला काम - महालक्ष्मी योजना। हर गरीब परिवार की हम लिस्ट बनाएंगे, हिंदुस्तान में करोड़ों लोग गरीबी रेखा से नीचे रहते हैं, उनकी लिस्ट बनेगी। अच्छी तरह सुनिए और यहाँ जो महिलाएं आई हैं, आप इस बात को अच्छी तरह सुनिए, हर गरीब परिवार की लिस्ट बनेगी और हर गरीब परिवार में से एक महिला का नाम चुना जाएगा और उस महिला के बैंक अकाउंट में कांग्रेस पार्टी की सरकार, इंडिया गठबंधन की सरकार हर साल एक लाख रुपए डालने जा रही है। महीने के आठ हजार पांच सौ रुपए, साल के एक लाख रुपए करोड़ों महिलाओं के बैंक अकाउंट में हर महीने टका-टक, टका-टक, टका-टक, टका-टक। आप अरबपति बनाओ, हम लखपति बनाएंगे। आप 25 अरबपति बनाओ, हम करोड़ों लखपति बनाएंगे।

New Delhi 24 April : Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva and several parliamentary candidates have expressed concern over the Congress manifesto calling for survey of individual property and distribution of excess wealth amongst the minority muslim community or other needy alongwith Congress leader Sam Pitroda's stement on need for inheritance law.

Shri Sachdeva at a press conference today said that the whole country is in a state of shock over Congress manifesto talking of survey of individual properties & wealth and its redistribution amongst minority muslims or other needy. 

Shri Sachdeva has said that at such a moment the statement of Congress think tank leader Sam Pitroda calling for need for inheritance law in India has totally shocked the countrymen especially women. The statement indicates the mindset of Congress leadership and things likely to happen if Congress comes to.power.

The new middle class, upper middle class, the working women and the housewives all are in a state of dilemma over the Congress manifesto's talk of property or wealth survey and want Congress to withdraw this from its manifesto.

Addressing a separate press conference on Wednesday, BJP's West Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Kamaljeet Sahrawat confidently claimed that the reservation based on religion mentioned in the Congress manifesto is a distortion of the country's constitutional framework.

Sahrawat shed light on the fact that under the leadership of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, it was decided that there would be no reservation based on religion in India. If there is reservation, it will be for Dalits, Adivasis, and backward brothers. "But the Congress, hungry for vote bank, did not care about Baba Saheb Ambedkar's words. Congress attempted to provide reservation based on religion long ago in Andhra Pradesh."

BJP's East Delhi Candidate Shri Harsh Malhotra talking to media explained that the Congress mantra is to snatch from you, to loot you. The Congress mantra is to loot common man both in life and afterlife. As long as you are alive, Congress will beat you with higher taxes. When you are not alive, it will burden your heirs with inheritance taxes. Those who considered the entire Congress party as their paternal property and gave it to their children, do not want ordinary Indians to give anything to their children.

Our country is not a consumerist country, it believes in values, in culture, in protection, in nurturing. If our nature is preserved today, it is saved by our values. If there are old parents at home, grandparents, they will take care of them. They won't even think of wearing it themselves. They think that if my granddaughter gets married, she will give it to her, if my grandson gets married, she will give it to him.

Ms. Bansuri Swaraj BJP's New Delhi candidate today talking to mediapersons at Hailey Road said that the Congress Manifesto reflects the mindset of divide and rule. Greed of attaining power by dividing the nation on religious grounds takes India back to the 19th century.

It is disheartening to learn that Congress has promised to redistribute the wealth while we have taken the pledge of Creation of Wealth in our Viksit Bharat Sankalp Patra. 

Congress have already looted the country’s money in the name of ‘ Gareebi Hataooo ‘  

Now want to loot the people in the name of Inheritance Tax. Ms. Swaraj questioned the intentions behind the statement of Mr Sam Pitroda and have asked Rahul Gandhi to clarify his stand on the same.

BJP's Chandni Chowk, candidate Shri Praveen Khandelwal has said that today's statement by Sam Pitroda is not the first alarming statement; he has previously suggested tax hikes on the hard working middle class in India.

Sam Pitroda is an advisor to the Gandhi family of the Congress and from his statements, it is clear that he has attempted to justify the inclusion of private property surveys in the Congress manifesto.
